Verify API - Overview

The Telesign Verify API makes it easy for you to set up phone-based, multi-factor authentication (MFA) using multiple channels and methods.

Use this product to:

Authenticate end users via a one-time passcode (OTP) on their preferred messaging channel:
SMS, WhatsApp, Viber, RCS, email, and voice.
Authenticate end users on their mobile devices seamlessly in the background without the need for any user action.
Authenticate end users via push notification to their mobile device.

When your preferred verification method is not available for a recipient, you can have the system automatically fail over to a backup method, such as SMS OTP.

OTP verification is currently available to all Full-service customers using our REST API.

We offer other verification methods through our Telesign Verify Android SDK and Telesign Verify iOS SDK.
