Verify API - Overview

The Telesign Verify API makes it easy for you to set up phone-based, multi-factor authentication (MFA) using multiple channels and methods.

Use this product to:

• Authenticate end users via one-time passcode (OTP) on their preferred messaging channel:
  SMS, WhatsApp, Viber, RCS, email
• Authenticate end users on their mobile devices seamlessly in the background without the need for any user action.
• Authenticate end users via push notification to their mobile device.

When your preferred verification method is not available for a recipient, you can have the system automatically fail over to a backup method, such as SMS OTP.

OTP verification is currently available to all Full-service customers using our REST API. Other verification methods depend on the Telesign Verify Android SDK. Contact our sales team for availability of the Android SDK in your region.
